MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external applications. Bimetrik MCP is Bimetrik's server built on this standard. Once you add Bimetrik to your AI and grant permission, your AI requests the data it needs from Bimetrik as you ask questions; Bimetrik sends only what you allowed.
It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, Mistral Vibe, Cursor, VS Code (GitHub Copilot), Codex and n8n. You can also use the server address in other clients that support remote MCP servers (Streamable HTTP and OAuth); your own MCP-capable agents connect with an API key.
Yes. In Bimetrik, go to Account › AI Connection › My connections to create an API key. Automations like n8n, your team’s workflows and your own MCP-capable agents connect by sending the key with every request in the Authorization: Bearer header. You give the key a name, permissions, a validity of up to 365 days and an optional IP restriction. The key is shown only once, can never exceed the creating user’s team permissions, and write permissions stay off unless you select them. You can revoke it at any time.
All Bimetrik plans. Your AI sees data from the modules enabled in your plan.
Some AI tools may require a paid plan to add custom connectors; check current terms with your provider. Usage on the AI side counts against your own plan in that tool.
Insight Agent is ready to use inside the Bimetrik dashboard. Bimetrik MCP works inside the AI you already use, alongside your other tools. Both use the same verified Bimetrik data.
Yes. The numbers come from verified data calculated by Bimetrik. The chat shows which Bimetrik tool your AI called, so you can trace the source of every number. Interpretations and suggestions are your AI's; before important decisions you can check the numbers in the dashboard.
Data for past days is up to date. Data for the current day is transferred from the marketplaces to Bimetrik every hour; your AI works with the latest transferred data on every question.
Usage limits depend on your plan. You can check the limits for your plan in your Bimetrik account.

The connection uses OAuth 2.1: you sign in to Bimetrik yourself in the browser and grant permission. Your password stays with you.

Every change comes as a preview first and is applied with your approval. Changes are made only to records in Bimetrik; your products, prices and stock on the marketplace stay as they are.
You do. Bimetrik MCP gives your AI the verified data in your account; your AI's interpretations, analyses and suggestions help you decide. Decisions based on these suggestions and their outcomes are the user's responsibility; record changes are also applied only with your approval.
Only users with the 'AI Connection' permission on their account. Each user sees only what their permissions allow, and every tool call is kept in an audit log for 90 days.
On the Account › AI Connection page you can remove the connection and keys in one click at any time. Access ends the moment you remove it.
